THE INS & OUTS
To build a strong career it is vital to have a solid foundation. This course is designed for beginners and is the first course that you need to take in order to become a lash technician. Prior to the course date please run through your Classic Lash Manual and 'Be your own CEO' Start Up Guide so you have an initial understanding of what we will go through.
The course covers all the basics of eyelash extensions procedures, health and safety to help you start your business. On this course you will learn how to safely apply one eyelash extension onto one natural lash.

Group classes will be kept small of 2-3 students to ensure all students will have maximum learning experience and the trainer is able to focus on each individual during the practical part.
​
This course will take one day and will run from 9am - 5pm and there will be a lunch break half way through the day.
​
You will need a model from 1pm that will be okay to lie down for up to 4 hours with no existing lashes and the natural lashes must be healthy.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN ON THE DAY?
The day will run from 9am - 5pm and be split up into two sections. From 9am-11am we will run through all the theory. From 11am-12:15pm we will begin practicing on a mannequin head so we can start getting accustomed to picking up lashes, isolating and placing them on the natural lash. We will have a 45 minute lunch break. At 1pm your model will arrive and we can begin putting the practice that you had just done on a mannequin head, on real life lashes on a real life human! We will finish up with answering any extra questions you need to ask.

Practical Part 1 (practice on the mannequin head):

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE TRAINING DAY?
Once you have completed your training day, you will not be qualified as of yet! Many trainers I see immediately qualify their students after a day of training, but its not enough to make the student feel ready to work on people's eyes so if you're looking to become a Last Artist as soon as possible, then unfortunately I am not the right Trainer for you.

Once the course is completed there is a time frame of 2 months to complete 3 case studies, in which you must send in before and after pictures as well as why you have decided to do this set and style on this model. I would also like to see pictures of practice on a mannequin head or sponge so I can see your progress! The faster these are completed, the faster you will be booked in for your Exam/mentoring day.
*YOU WILL NEED A MODEL FOR THIS DAY THAT IS OKAY TO LIE FOR UP TO 4 HOURS, NO EXISTING LASH EXTENSIONS AND HAS HEALTHY NATURAL LASHES.*
Don't be worried at the word exam! This day is for me to assess your work by theory and practical and make sure you are now capable to start beginning your lash career but also a free 3 hour session where I will give you even more advice and tips, and watch your work pick up on things to improve on. The theory will be a multiple choice worksheet and must be answered without the manual, so make sure to be revising! After this, we will have the 3 hour Mentoring/Exam and if I feel like you are ready and really taken on the advice provided, I will give you your certificate and you will now be a fully Accredited and Qualified Lash Artist.
